No financial information ( credit / debit card / bank details ) is ever stored.
Managing your Personal Information
Other than the correspondence aspects discussed in the section above, the main source of personal information given is when you create an account on Rentaballoonrace to buy or gift virtual balloons. This will include your name, email address, post code and agreement or not to future marketing from your chosen charity under GDPR rules of compliance. Your home address is not mandatory. Creating an account also requires you to register a username and password so you can gain secure access to your account in the future.
You may at any point request that we delete some or all of the personal data we hold on you by completing the contact us form or alternatively, writing directly to [email protected]
How Long Do We Keep Your Data?
After a race has finished and all balloon purchasing information has been passed through to your supported charity, the only data kept is your account details. These are kept in an identifiable form for as long as we have a legitimate reason to use the data and as required by law.
